Start with your daily route, not the brochure range. Record your longest normal day and allow a buffer for hills, traffic, load and battery ageing.
Ask for the exact model year, battery capacity, test-cycle range and a written local quotation. Include taxes, registration, charger installation and any battery subscription.
Check the warranty in writing: who handles service, which parts are stocked, what battery capacity is guaranteed, and how a claim is made.
Test-drive your route and confirm home, workplace or swap-station access. A low running cost does not replace a reliable charging plan.
